One important lesson you need to remember in life: Learn to lower your expectations.
As a human being, we tend to expect a lot. We have these standards in life and if these standards are not met, we easily get frustrated. Sometimes, too much frustration may lead to depression and without knowing it, you are diagnosed with a bipolar mood disorder.
I know it sounds quite impossible not to expect something. When you are interviewed for a job, its a normal feeling to expect that by any circumstances, you'll be hired. But no matter what you do, expectations can also destroy you. In some cases, expectations ruin your focus. It may also put your relationship at risk.
For instance, if you are in a relationship and both parties are expecting something from each other, what do you will happen? You know, I am not an expert in love but it has proven that expectations can take away all the spontaneity in a relationship. If both parties have too many expectations from each other, the relationship will run as if everything is written and proofread by an editor and may eventually result to misunderstandings and separation.
The point of the matter is, there are times that it just feels good to let it out. Just be yourself and no expectations will be made. Life can be a choice anyway so why live your life with expectations?
You are a human being and there are times that you need to act without boundaries; just free from every tags of life e.g. personal standards, social expectations, work-related expectations etc. Truth is, expectations are inside your mind all the time and it's up to you how you control it.
